Family Nurse Practitioner
Lisa brings more than 31 years of experience in healthcare, blending family medicine, mental health, women’s health, functional wellness, and patient education. She holds degrees in Biology, Nursing, and a Master of Science in Nursing from UTMB Galveston, and she maintains board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her advanced training includes Micro Current Neurofeedback, Recovery Nutrition Coaching (Levels 1 & 2), Trauma-Informed Care courses through Trauma Healing Accelerated, and certification in Nutritional IV therapy.
With a long-standing commitment to whole-person care, Lisa focuses on helping individuals and families reach lasting wellness through practical, integrative strategies. She has a strong background in assessing root causes, developing personalized plans, and guiding patients toward meaningful, measurable change.
Lisa’s passion for healthcare began in childhood, inspired by her Godmother’s work as a nurse. Today, she continues that same heart for service, seeing each patient as an individual and meeting them with compassion, respect, and genuine support. At a first visit, patients can expect to be heard, understood, and guided with a plan tailored to their unique needs.
She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and appreciates the body’s innate ability to heal when supported properly. Her love for functional medicine comes from discovering those root causes and helping people experience true, sustainable health.
Lisa is excited to join Mind and Body Solutions, a team she has admired for years for their integrity, compassion, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Originally from Dallas, Lisa now lives in the Houston area with her husband, their son who is active in ministry, and their loyal dog, Scooby. She enjoys spending time outdoors, caring for her home and family, serving in women’s ministry leadership, and living out a lifestyle of whole, healthy eating.
Stay tuned – Lisa looks forward to bringing new services to Mind and Body Solutions!
