Chronic & Complex Condition Support in Houston

Chronic and complex conditions can be ongoing and multifaceted. Our Houston integrative services focus on whole-body support, resilience, and improving overall quality of life through personalized care plans.

What types of conditions fall into this category?
Conditions that are long-standing or involve multiple systems.
Is this a replacement for medical care?
No, services are supportive and complementary to medical care.
Are these services local to Houston?
Yes, we serve patients throughout the metro area.
I have already seen several specialists. How is this different?
It is not a replacement for any of them. The difference is usually scope: a consultation here looks at your history as a whole rather than at one system, and the aim is supportive care that complements what your physicians are already doing.
Do you need my medical records?
Bringing what you have is helpful — recent results, a list of current medications and supplements, and a rough timeline of when things changed. If you do not have records to hand, that is not a barrier to a first conversation.
Should I stop any current treatment?
No. Do not stop or change anything a physician has prescribed on the basis of information on this website. Any supportive care is intended to sit alongside your existing treatment, and decisions about that treatment stay with your doctor.
How do I arrange a consultation?
Appointments can be requested through our booking page, or by phone. Location, opening hours and contact details are on the contact page.

What "chronic and complex" means here

A condition tends to get called complex when it has lasted a long time, involves more than one system of the body, or has not resolved into a single clear explanation. Fatigue that does not lift with rest, pain that moves, symptoms that appear unrelated to one another — these are the patterns people describe most often on a first call.

What these situations have in common is rarely the diagnosis. It is the experience of having been through a number of appointments already, each looking at one part of the picture.

Why the first appointment is mostly listening

With a long or layered history, the useful information is often in the sequence — what started when, what changed around it, what helped for a while and then stopped. A first consultation is largely spent on that history, because it is the part that a series of short, separate appointments tends not to capture.

Support is then built around your circumstances. There is no standard programme for this category, and that is deliberate: two people with the same label frequently need very different things.

Working with the care you already have

Most people arriving here are already under the care of one or more physicians, and that continues. Our services are supportive and complementary — they do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment, and nothing we suggest is a reason to change a prescription without speaking to the doctor who wrote it.

If you are considering whether this is worth your time, the consultation is where that gets answered honestly, including when the answer is no.
