We get these questions a lot. Here are our best answers...

What is functional and integrative medicine?
It is a personalized, drug-free approach to healthcare that looks for the root cause of a problem instead of managing the symptoms it produces. Rather than treating a diagnosis on its own, we look at the whole picture — nutrition, digestion, hormones, toxic load, stress and your health history — and use testing to find what is actually driving how you feel. From there we build a plan around your body: food, targeted supplements, and the therapies that suit you. "Integrative" means we work alongside your existing medical care and any prescriptions you are on, not in place of them. The goal is simple: to make sick people well, and to keep healthy people healthy.
What is Nutrition Response Testing?
Nutrition Response Testing is a non-invasive system that helps identify underlying nutritional imbalances using muscle testing. It allows us to design a personalized nutrition plan and supplement protocol to support your body's healing.
What is cost of this program? Do you take insurance?
The cost of our program varies based on your individual needs and the services recommended during your report of findings. While we do not accept insurance, we are happy to accept HSA and FSA cards as forms of payment. Please note that some patients have experienced challenges with FSA cards, particularly with supplement purchases, so we recommend checking with your FSA provider in advance to confirm what is covered. HSAs, which you can get from your bank, tend to be more flexible and are generally less likely to decline coverage for our services and supplements.
What ages of patients do you see?
We see patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. Each healing plan is tailored to the individual's age and needs.
Do I get to choose my practitioner?
Yes, you are welcome to request someone specific or we will match you with the best fit practitioner for your needs.
Do you have late hours?
Yes. We see patients into the evening on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our full opening hours are listed further down this page.
Is bloodwork included?
Comprehensive bloodwork is not part of your first appointment — that visit is an assessment, and any lab work is ordered afterwards only if your practitioner needs it. Saliva testing and stool testing are also performed. Bloodwork is billed separately.
Do you have real doctors?
Yes, our team includes licensed healthcare professionals with advanced training in integrative and functional medicine.
Does this actually work?
Many of our patients report significant improvements in energy, digestion, mood, and overall health. As with any approach, results vary by individual and commitment to the program.
Are my supplements included?
Supplements are not included in the base cost of your visits. We'll recommend only what's needed and help you understand how they support your healing.
Can you see me even if I am on prescription medications?
Yes, absolutely. We work alongside your current medical treatments and focus on supporting your body naturally.
How long does it take to feel better?
Some patients notice improvements within a few weeks, while deeper healing can take several months. It depends on your health history, consistency, and goals.
Do you work with cancer patients?
Yes, we offer supportive therapies like SOT therapy, nutritional guidance, and immune system support. We also offer advanced RGCC testing.
What conditions can you help with?
We support a wide range of conditions including hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue, Lyme disease, and more. Visit our Conditions page to see more.
Do you see patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes, we do work with patients during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Care is always tailored to support both mom and baby safely.
Are supplements safe while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Not all supplements are appropriate during this time. We only recommend options that are considered safe and necessary, and we encourage coordination with your OB-GYN or midwife.
